| NEED OF VEGETABLES FOR HEALTH |
In Pakistan and India, vegetables are
commonly eaten as food. Vegetables are rich in natural salts, minerals and
vitamins. Green leafy vegetables are high in salt, so their use is very
useful in liver, kidney, bladder stones and chronic constipation. Vegetables
are usually easily digested and relieve constipation. Cleanses the intestines
and gives them strength. Therefore, the use of vegetables is very useful and
necessary for health and life. Potatoes, turnips, beets, carrots and sugar cane
contain a lot of starch and sugar. Ordinary vegetables are low in nitrogen and
high in vitamins and salts. The saltiness of vegetables keeps the blood soft
and clean. Blood and skin diseases are not unjustified. Constipation is not a
complaint. Tomatoes, carrots, radishes, potatoes, cabbage, turnips, spinach,
fenugreek, apple gourd, pumpkins and other vegetables are useful and healthy.
The best way to cook vegetables is to cook
them without water. Vegetables cooked in this way are more beneficial for
health, but if they are not cooked or cooked in this way, then they should be
cooked in only enough water to absorb them. Vegetables cooked
in ordinary ghee/cooking oil are quick to digest and energized and fried in
ghee/cooking oil, fried are slow to digest and heavy and their vitamins and
nutrients are also lost. Vegetables should be cooked over a low heat. Eating
raw vegetables is very good for health. Carrots, radishes, turnips, tomatoes,
cucumbers, salads and onions can be eaten raw.
